MNA Picnic
The annual MNA picnic will be held at Mountainview Park on October 13th from 4pm-7pm. Bring your family out to the park for a fun evening of food and music while getting a chance to meet new neighbors and reacquaint yourself with those you haven't seen in a while. We will be serving a wide variety of Greek/Mediterranean food prepared under the direction of John Skevofilax. Music will be provided by musician David Massey (tips appreciated, plus he'll be selling CD's).
Barring an emergency, the fire engine & firemen from the Four Iron station will be there about 4pm to answer questions anyone might have on fire safety, and of course allow the kids to get an up-close look at the truck and firefighting equipment. We will also have pumpkin painting for the kids, and everyone is welcome to bring their own balls, Frisbees, kites, etc. for some fun at the park.
Greek to Go
Since we have members within the Mountain Neighborhood who are not able to attend the picnic due to illness, disability, or who are otherwise home bound, we are planning to deliver "Greek to Go" for these families on the evening of the picnic. We were able to reach one of our MNA families last year and would like to add any others who may have similar circumstances. If this service would be beneficial for your family, please contact Deborah Haines at or by phone at 335‐0387 by Thursday, October 11, 2012 so we can verify membership and add you to our list of deliveries. Remember, this is only intended for those who are truly homebound.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the picnic!
