Welcome to the Mountain Neighborhood Association (MNA)

Who We Are

The Mountain Neighborhood Association (MNA) is a voluntary homeowner association for The Mountain neighborhood located in northwest Austin. We encourage all residents to join the MNA to become an active part of our community and help support the MNA’s events and maintenance of common areas.

Membership

Annual dues are $50 and are due in September each year (join via the membership link in the menu). If you are new to the neighborhood, please register at any time.

The 2024 Membership drive is currently underway. Please pay via Credit Card if possible (via the PayPal link) — otherwise select the “Pay by Check” and drop a check in the mail.

In 2020, the MNA had 158 members. With 435 houses in the neighborhood our 2021 goal is to get at least 50% participation! One of the initiatives for 2024 is an upgrade of our IT infrastructure to streamline our processing and better serve neighbors, which is still in progress. Join Now!

Holiday tree sale

The long awaited Holiday Tree Drive ordering period is OPEN!!  Again we are partnering with the Balcones Village / Spicewood at Balcones Village HOA to ensure the lowest cost possible for our neighborhood. Thank You @BVS HOA !

The MNA has reserved 50 trees this year. The cost is $50/tree. If you’re interested in ordering more than one tree, go for it! Once we’ve secured orders for 50 trees, everyone who is still interested will be put on a waitlist. If the surrounding HOAs need help fulfilling their designated orders, the MNA waitlist folks will be next in line. Any waitlist orders that are unable to me matched with a tree will be refunded after the delivery date.

Mailing Lists

The MNA maintains two mailing lists:

  • MNA Mailing List: Broadcast list for members only (sign up!) regarding upcoming meetings, social events, member information.
  • Mountain Google Group: This is a neighborhood-wide discussion group where anyone can post anything from lost pets/keys, items for sale, and other news of general interest to the neighborhood (sign up!)
